Join me on a culinary journey as I explore this unique establishment and share my honest impressions. From the flavorsome food to the charming atmosphere, here's everything you need to know about Tokoa Cheese Steaks.

Overall Score: 4/10

Okay let's get into it >>

Vibes:

Personally, I think they may be lacking in the atmosphere department. There is music playing in the background but it's barely noticeable, there isn’t much in terms of decor, and the ambiance isn’t very inviting. Aside from the logo and the Maryland jersey hung up on the wall, there isn’t much to draw in customers. If you're looking for a cozy eat-at, I wouldn't recommend it here =(.

Service:

This was a sponsored post so the service was excellent lol they knew I was coming so there's not much for me to add here.

Food/Drinks Ordered:

Again I want to reiterate the social media post was a sponsored post so I wasn't very opinionated but below are my honest thoughts.

Philly Cheesesteak/ Philly's Best/ Chipotle Chicken: 5/10 - All three of these cheesesteaks were OK in taste. It did not stand out, honestly, the food was a bit bland. The cheese was melted, and the meat was well-cooked, but the flavor just wasn't there for me.

BBQ Chicken Wings: 6.5/10 - This chicken definitely tasted like chicken found on a college campus lol. It was tasty but also still a bit bland, the BBQ sauce was working overtime.

Bacon Mac and Cheese Bites: 3/10 - I'm sorry but this was not tasty. It tasted very processed and straight out of the box. I don't recommend it.

Mangonada: 8.7/10 - Honestly, this was the bomb. It was flavourful and a bit spicy, a very cool blend. They had actual mangos in it! I def recommend it.

Tokoa Refresher: 10/10 - This was some of the freshest, well-balanced lemonade I have ever had! This was the best thing I had on my visit. And I loved that it wasn't overly sweet.

Cost:

Sorry, but I think they're highly overpriced. $24 American dollars for a cheesesteak? Oh no.

Parking:

There is a parking garage nearby that is free on weekends. During the week you must pay. I did not see any other parking.

Would Come Here?

  • No, I'll pass.
