Join me on a culinary journey as I explore this unique establishment and share my honest impressions. From the flavorsome food to the charming atmosphere, here's everything you need to know about 1799 Prime Alexandria.

Overall Score: 8/10

Okay let's get into it >>

Vibes:

This restaurant has an upscale vibe but also a comfort vibe. It's a good mix. They have indoor and outdoor dining, however, I feel like their decor might be a bit dated. They also had a lively bar area and the good thing is that the sound doesn't transfer over to the regular indoor dining.

Service:

This was a hosted post so the service was excellent lol they invited a few influencers for a tasting event.

Food/Drinks Ordered:

Again I want to reiterate the social media post was a hosted post so I do think they took more time and paid attention to how they made the food.

Shrimp Salad: I'm a BIG shrimp fan, I'd say it's my fave food, and the shrimp in the salad was sooo good but the rest was alright. Actually, the ingredients in the salad seemed random.

Szechuan Pork Ribs: This was DELICIOUS! It was also very unique. The ribs had pistachio on them and it made the ribs taste even better. The meat was very tender and juicy.

Blackened Grouper Sandwich: Okay so I thought this was chicken when I was first eating it LMFAO and I kept thinking it taste so weird. Apparently, this is a type of fish lol. So I thought for chicken it wasn't tasty but after I found out it was fish I was like hmmm lol IDK how to rate it. I actually think you just need to taste it yourself.

Squid Ink Linguine: The name is a bit scary but this was actually really good. Again, if you've read my previous posts you know I love seafood so the mussels were speaking to me. The pasta was also very tasty. I believe it also had calamari, they got on their Zoom for this one.

Cost:

This was a hosted event, so I do not know the costs sadly.

Parking:

There is off-street parking all around the restaurant. But it gets a bit packed so I recommend coming early.
